Tadpole Talk

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

In short: Tadpole Talk collects nothing. All of your data stays on your device. There is no account, no analytics, and no tracking.

What we collect

Nothing is collected by us. Tadpole Talk has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. We cannot see your child's name, your targets, your practice history, or anything else you enter.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. It is included in your device's normal encrypted backups (iCloud or iTunes/Finder) if you have those enabled — those backups are controlled by Apple and your settings, not by us.

Reports you export

When you choose to export a progress report (PDF or CSV), the file is generated on your device and handed to the system share sheet. You decide where it goes — for example, emailing it to your speech pathologist. We are not involved in that transfer.

Notifications

If you turn on practice reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. No reminder data leaves your device, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings.

Children's privacy

Tadpole Talk is intended to be used by a parent or caregiver. Because we collect no data at all, no personal information about a child is ever transmitted or stored off the device.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
