Scores AU is built with privacy in mind. We collect only what's necessary to provide live sports scores, personalised alerts, and cross-device sync. We don't sell your data.

This policy applies to the Scores AU iOS application and the backend services that power it. It is governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
When you create an account or sign in, we collect:
An account is entirely optional. You can use Scores AU anonymously — no sign-in is required to view scores.
These are stored on your device and, if you are signed in, synced to our server so they persist across reinstalls and devices.
To deliver push notifications and Live Activity updates, we store your device's APNs (Apple Push Notification service) token on our server. This token is used only to send you notifications and is not shared with third parties for any other purpose.
We use TelemetryDeck for privacy-first analytics. TelemetryDeck does not collect personally identifiable information and processes events anonymously on their servers. Data collected includes: app launches, feature usage, tab selections, and crash-related signals. No advertising identifiers are used.
We use Sentry to receive automatic crash reports. Crash reports may contain device information (OS version, device model) and a stack trace of the error. They do not contain your account details or the content of your notifications.
We do not use your data for targeted advertising and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Scores AU fetches sports data from the following public APIs. Your personal information is not sent to these services:
Sign-in is processed by Apple (Sign in with Apple) and Google (Google Sign-In). Please refer to their respective privacy policies for how they handle authentication.
Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Scores AU is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens, and hashed refresh tokens stored in our database. No method of transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Scores AU after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we'll notify you via the app.
